Biostrip Wheel Strip replenisher is specifically designed to be used as a "top up" solution for wheel stripping tanks. It contains the correct amount of actives to replace solution lost, due to carry-out and evaporation. The use of this product keeps the wheel stripping tank in optimum condition.
How To Use:
The condition of the Wheel Stripper tank can be monitored very easily by measuring the specific gravity (SG) of the stripper solution.
This measurement can be made using a "hydrometer". This is a simple piece of equipment often used in beer making.
A sample of the stripper solution is placed in a jar and the hydrometer carefully lowered into the solution. As the Wheel Stripper is a viscous (thick) solution it may take a while to stabilise.
Make sure the hydrometer does not catch the sides of the sample jar.
Once the hydrometer has settled and is no longer sinking or rising, take the reading from the hydrometer, just where it touches the top of the solution.
