Brush Cleaner and Restorer

how to clean brushes
tips on brush cleaning
helpful tips brush cleaning

Pads, rollers and brushes should not be left loaded with paint, but you can keep a wet brush or roller useable for around an hour. Simply wrap it in aluminium foil or cling film to keep the air out and prevent drying.

Scrape excess paint from brushes and pads with a knife or scraper. Use a squeegee made for the job for rollers.

Pour the brush cleaner into a suitable receptacle large enough to hold the pad, roller etc to be cleaned, and immerse the brush, pad or roller into the brush cleaner and work it around until the paint is loosened.

Finally wash the item in a warm, soapy solution and then rinse with clean water and allow to air dry.

Placing a loose eleastic band around brush bristles will help keep the brush's shape.

To restore a brush, soak in Biostrip Brush Restorer until the brush is soft, then follow the instructions for cleaning.
